ALVES Hall was built in 1940’s and has recently been refurbished.
The hall has great facilities which include a foyer, a large main multi-purpose hall, modernised ladies and gents toilets. with a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities. The kitchen has been modernised with a large double sink, a fully functioning new double oven, fridge etc. quick steam dishwasher and can now accommodate parties and all social events.
The main hall and Kitchen are used frequently by our regular users – ladies and gents bowling and the Wednesday club ( ladies keep fit class).
Directly off the kitchen area we have a modest seating area which can be used for meetings and small gatherings.
With the hall’s recent refurbishment it is now available for all kinds of events, no matter how big or small – from ceilidhs, dances, Burns Suppers, fund-raising events, sporting events and sports/exercise classes, crafting to meetings big and small!

Additional available equipment includes 80 comfortable padded chairs with tables (small and large) as well as 4 large round tables.
There is also a stage which can be easily erected and placed where required. There is ample parking to the side and rear of the hall.
Aves Hall can be hired for all family occasions, weddings and parties as well as sporting groups and one off events.
It can comfortably sit 75 – 80 people seated and with tables and chairs. Events where it is all seated eg. No tables, then we can accommodate up to 100 people seated.
