How to add an event to the Dairy of Events Calendar
Your first requirement is a Google Account of your own
Once your account is created please email me, Bob Fuller, on:
I will then send you an invitation to join in the calendar,
accept the invitation and follow the instructions below:
Log in to your Google account with the email address and password that you registered when you created your Google account
Click on the time of the event on the correct date and select Edit Event on the Pop-up box that appears
Clicking Edit Event opens the selected date/time.
Enter the title of the event and the venue of the event
(Putting the venue in this box makes it appear on the listing in the calendar
and NOT just in the more details section of the event listing).
Choose the start and finish time by clicking in the to and from time boxes.
Enter the details of the venue in the ‘Where’ box and fill in the full details in the ‘Description’ box.
You can put as much information as you wish in this box it will automatically expand as you type.
Make sure that the MFCHA calendar is the selected calendar (see image above)
When you are happy that all of your information is correct click on the ‘Save’ button at the top.
Your event is now live on the Moray Federation of Community Halls and Associations Diary of Events.
